2020 Toyota Corolla models | Fox Toyota of El Paso in El Paso, TXAlthough the automotive market offers a wide variety of car types, the classic sedan is still as popular as ever. Its excellent balance between interior space, good performance, and maneuverability has always been attractive to car lovers. Looking for more proof? How about the fact that Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car of all time. The 2020 model stays true to the high standards that made the Corolla so popular – with a few new tricks up its sleeve!

Many Trim Levels to Choose From

There are five different trim levels available for the 2020 Toyota Corolla: L, LE, SE, XLE, and XSE. There are also two different engines to choose from. The L, LE, and XLE trims are powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces up to 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque. The SE and XSE trims are fitted with a 2.0-liter that’s capable of up to 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. Both engines benefit from the smoothness of Toyota’s continuously variable transmission.

The standard L trim comes with many features that are only optional on other cars, such as automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, LED headlights, a 7-inch touch-screen interface, as well as several smartphone connectivity options, just to name a few. Higher trims add even more features, like a larger touch screen, adaptive headlights, satellite radio, and power-adjustable front seats. Many of the features on higher trims are available as options for lower trims, allowing buyers to personalize the Corolla according to particular needs and desires.

A Brand New Design

Corollas have always looked good, and the 2020 model stays true to that tradition. Having undergone a major transformation, the 2020 Toyota Corolla now sports a very modern look and feel. Its agility and excellent performance are showcased in the redesigned front fascia, while the dark grey metallic sports accents enhance this sedan’s edgy look, both fast and elegant. Other new features are the newly-designed 18-inch wheels, as well as the LED lights in both the front and back.

Excellent Active and Passive Safety Features

Many sedan owners use their cars as family vehicles, which is why safety is always Toyota’s number one priority. The 2020 Toyota Corolla manages to do a great job in both avoiding accidents and minimizing their impact when they do occur, thanks to a coalition of active and passive safety features working together. The Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 active safety bundle includes functions that alert the driver of any potential danger and even helps with the steering and braking when necessary; meanwhile, the car’s strong body and standard Advanced Airbag System help limit the damages caused by an unavoidable collision.

Improving a very popular product is one of the toughest challenges that any company must face, but Toyota certainly stepped up to the challenge when they created the 2020 Corolla. Its looks, performance, agility, technology features, and safety systems all work together to maintain Corolla’s place at the top of sales and popularity charts.
