Continuing its legacy of hybrid innovation, the 2025 Toyota Prius is more impressive than ever, with outstanding performance, efficiency, and tech. For 2025, it comes in a stylish new Nightshade trim, so Prius shoppers now have four exciting trim levels to choose from.
1. LE
The LE makes the most of every drop of fuel, averaging an EPA-estimated 57 MPG combined with front-wheel drive or 54 MPG combined when equipped with available all-wheel drive. Its 2.0-liter 4-cylinder hybrid system creates up to 196 horsepower, while its fully independent suspension handles curves with ease. Although the LE is the entry-level Prius grade, it comes with plenty of premium features, like bi-LED projector headlights, six USB-C charge ports, and a Smart Key System for easy entry.
A long list of advanced safety features helps LE drivers avoid danger on the road, including a blind spot monitor that can detect hard-to-see vehicles in adjacent lanes. This model comes with vibrant displays, including a 7-inch Multi-Information Display with gauges and driving information, plus an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display that controls vehicle settings and shows what’s playing on the six-speaker audio system. Compatible smartphones are easy to connect to this display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2. XLE
Achieving fuel economy of up to 52 MPG combined, the XLE adds even more exciting features, like 19-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a wireless smartphone charger. Inside, the seats are trimmed with SofTex synthetic leather, and heated front seats warm you up quickly when the temperature drops outside. The XLE also comes with extra driver assistance features, including front and rear parking sensors.
3. Nightshade
This trim level combines the XLE’s features with exclusive Nightshade styling. Black exterior trim, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and blackout badging are just a few of the features that set the Nightshade apart. If you have your eye on the Prius’s new mustard-yellow hue, Karachi, the Nightshade is the only trim level that’s available in this exterior color. Its cabin also gets a distinctive look, with black SofTex-trimmed seats with gray stitching, plus carbon fiber dash trim.
4. Limited
The Limited is the Prius’s most luxurious trim, with upgraded comfort, tech, and convenience features. Inside, you’ll enjoy a fixed glass roof, ventilated front seats, and a driver’s seat that stores your favorite position. Its power liftback makes loading cargo easier than ever, while its Digital Key capability lets you use your smartphone instead of your key fob. The Limited also has a larger 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display, which controls its eight-speaker JBL premium audio system.
