Bruschetta | Fox Toyota of El Paso in El Paso, TXWelcome to El Paso, where you’ll find plenty of good food, entertainment, and shopping! With many restaurants in and around town, which ones should you visit? You may not consider that the city, right here on the Mexican border, would have much to offer when it comes to Italian food, but you’d be surprised to find there are many choices available! It was difficult to pick and choose, but we’ve selected 6 of our favorite Italian restaurants here in town.

1. Trattoria Bella Sera

For traditional home-cooked Italian fare, this is the place to go. This low-key, affordable establishment is owned and operated by a Verona, Italy native. She cooks up traditional Venetian cuisine that explodes with spices and flavors.
Enjoy a delicious meal on their quaint patio with a glass of Italian-imported wine. Remember, if you’re consuming alcohol, please drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.

2. Cafe Italia

Enjoy what locals refer to as some of the best Italian food in the area: Cafe Italia serves up your traditional dishes with fresh ingredients, extra love, and care.
We suggest the shrimp linguini or the brick-oven pizza. And, while your meal is being prepared, the Caprese salad is a great starter! They currently offer dine-in and takeout.

3. Johnny Carino’s

If you’re looking for a good old-fashioned classic Italian chain, you can’t go wrong at Johnny Carino’s. They serve familiar dishes in generous portions, such as fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, and ravioli.
And don’t forget to try their homemade garlic spread that accompanies the hot loaf of bread you’ll get with each dish. Save some room for the tiramisu and cheesecake as well! Currently, they are available for dine-in, curbside pickup, and delivery.

4. Pasta A Vanti

When you’re in the mood to relax in your hotel, this locally owned restaurant offers quick and delicious takeout meals at affordable prices. They also boast the best pizza in town. Or choose from their selection of pastas, chicken marsala, and spaghetti.

5. Buon Giorno Caffe

Sometimes it’s the small places that can make a big impression. At Buon Giorno Caffe, Giovanni knows how it’s done. With quick, friendly service and local, fresh ingredients, you’ll enjoy generous and tasty portions here! They are currently available for take-out.

6. Mi Piaci Restaurant

This locally owned restaurant specializes in steak and seafood dishes made from scratch by chef and owner Cosimo Battaglia. They also boast a wide selection of appetizers, soups, and salads.
